In recent days, those of you visiting FYRE.IS have witnessed a transformation: a change in colors, name, and logo. Rest assured, your senses haven't deceived you. 😊
Indeed, the original name, FYRE.IS, left many puzzled, save for those few who deciphered "FaithfulY REconstructing" from our tagline. Unfortunately, it also evoked memories of the notorious Fyre Festival.
Shortly after becoming an LLC, FYRE.IS faced a potential conflict when Fyre Festival sought to trademark "FYRE" for online retail, posing a legal challenge for our modest venture. A change became imperative.
The Essence Behind "America, Humble Yourselves & Pray"
This new title is not a spontaneous choice. It originated from a Facebook page I created in 2012, during a period of reflection and concern over political leadership in America. Despite my vigorous support for Mitt Romney and concerns about another term under Obama, I realized that true change lies beyond politics. It is found in the spiritual principle captured in 2 Chronicles 7:14:
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
This verse underscored my belief that America's path to healing begins with personal and collective humility, prayer, and turning to God.
